A rewarding opportunity is available for two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Painesville, OH. These contract positions focus on delivering targeted speech therapy support to students, empowering their communication skills and overall academic success during the current school year.
Responsibilities Include
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders for assigned students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Providing services in accordance with state and federal regulations and school policies
- Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining accurate records
Position Details
- One SLP to support preschool students from March 2 through May 28
- One SLP to provide services across grades K-12 from April 7 through May 28
- Contract duration corresponds with the current school year calendar
- Work location: Painesville, Ohio
Preferred Qualifications And Experience
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Eligibility or experience as a Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidate preferred
- Background in pediatric speech therapy within school settings
- Familiarity with K-12 educational environments and related speech-language development stages
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators and families
